What do you get when you mix this....
with this...
while talking to your hottie husband?
1 Trip to the emergency room, 1 Tetanus Shot and 1 stitched finger!
Another note to self: Pay attention when you are using large serrated knives!
Luckily for me it wasn't too deep and it didn't hurt at all, I actually finished cooking dinner, ate dinner, went to have my cousin look at it (she is an athletic trainer), went to Emergicare (they closed at 6) and stopped for a Pepsi before getting to the E.R. 30 minutes in the ER = $100, thank you for decent insurance!
I hope everyone has a happy 9 o'clock Dance of Joy!
OH' MAN KENZ... so sorry.... Keep eyes on knife and not hottie hubby from now on! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat hot hubbie got you a little distracted huh?! I'm gald it wasn't too bad. Be careful!!
ReplyDeleteOuch!!!! So glad it didn't hurt. This just proves what I always say...cooking is hazardous to your health!
ReplyDeleteOh my hell! You're one funny girl! OUCH! Sorry :)
ReplyDeleteYikes!! Hope it heals nicely.
ReplyDeleteOuch Kenzie!! I feel for you though, been there done that. Wishing you a speedy recovery :)
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing -- I'm hoping that hottie hubby helped make it feel better since it WAS his fault.
ReplyDeleteYIKES!!! I remember doing that when I got my Cutco knifes. The first time I used one of them I cut my thumb. It was painful but did not have to go to the ER.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you were not in too much pain.
Awwww, I'm so sorry. When I do something like that I always think... What was I thinking, lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me over at Pittypat Paperie and leaving a nice comment. Drop by again anytime.
Oh no, that's what you get for having a hottie for a husband haha. Hope it heals quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh My
ReplyDeleteIf only your hubby wasn't such a hottie you would be all in one piece: )
Ooch, you're brave - stitches and needles...2 of my 'nonfavorites'! Glad it wasn't too major and the conversation was able to ensue with little disruption!
ReplyDeleteI've done similar things more than once. I am glad it didn't upset you too much.
ReplyDeletehaha - hopping around blogs tonight and I come upon this - I'm totally thinking "I've done this... twice... ManOfTheHouse calls me Danger Prone - which is just a nice way of saying Klutz"
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing! Knives and I don't get along well, if it makes you feel any better. You made out pretty well as far as ER bills go though! Thanks for the visit today. :)
ReplyDeleteOUCH!!!! BE CAREFUL! You need those hands and fingers for all that crafting I love to see! :) Glad it was nothing too serious.
ReplyDeleteKara @ Mine for the Making
Wow.... scary! We know all about the ER- my husband recently stapled his hand with an industrial staple gun (our bill ended up being a bit higher!!).
ReplyDeleteGlad your experience wasn't life threatening and I love that "hottie husband" was the distraction :)
