Camera Strap Cover

So I am feeling better, just achy and exhausted!  I couldn't stand to lay in bed for another minute and I didn't feel good enough to go anywhere so I decided sitting up and sewing was a good alternative.  I have seen gorgeous camera strap covers everywhere and have been wanting one for a while now.  But I am way too cheap to pay the kind of money they want for them so I decided to make my own.

I refuse to show pictures of how I made it, if you are a real seamstress you would probably keel over and die!  My Mom and Gramma are amazing seamstresses, I really need to sit down with them and get a real sewing lesson.  But for now my method works!
There are definitely some improvements that can be made but for my first one I love it!  I will definitely be making another one!

ADORABLENESS Kenzie! Don't worry, I won't tell your mom or grandma - you know I'm right there with ya in the "make it work" category of crafters :-). Glad to hear you're feeling some better. Take it easy!

I think this is adorable!!! One bit of advice...if you worry about a project being "perfect" or if you worry about whether or not you're doing things "the right way" you will diminish the joy of creating. Just have fun!!! (By the way, your mom and grandma would approve of your work--especially your Grandma who is a truly talented seamstrees (and cake decorator and decorator and, and, and....) :)

Very cute. As long as you didn't staple it together you would have done a better sewing job than me.

I think the strap turned out marvelously!! No one ever needs to know the secrets of the stitch. I adore the ruffling ribbon and the color combination! It's awesome! :-)

BUMMER! I love it! I would love to know how you made it! You're way beyond me in sewing skills. I wouldn't know where to begin, but I might give it a go!

I saw you on "Just a Girl."

What a GREAT PROJECT. We bloggers tend to carry our camera everywhere, right? How clever that you are now doing it in high style! Thank you for sharing this on the Boardwalk Bragfest!
